What's a "query"?

One successful /v1/check response for one IP. Errors don't count. The free quota resets daily at 00:00 UTC; paid quotas reset monthly.

What exactly is a lookup?
One lookup is one successful /v1/check response for one IP address. A request that returns a 4xx/5xx error does not count. Plans are sold as a flat daily lookup quota — when you hit it you're rate-limited, never billed an overage.
Do you charge per query or for overage?
No. Pricing is flat per plan. There is no metered per-query billing and no surprise overage invoice. If you consistently need more than Scale's 10M/month, talk to us about volume pricing.
Is a credit card required for the free tier?
No card for Free — 1,000 lookups/day with every signal. You add a card only when you upgrade to a paid plan.
Can I change plans or cancel anytime?
Yes. Upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time from your dashboard. Paid plans bill monthly; pay by card.
What's the attribution requirement on Free?
On the Free tier you must keep a visible "Powered by GeoQ" / DB-IP attribution as described on our attributions page. Paid plans remove that requirement.
Do you offer a signed DPA?
Yes — a Data Processing Agreement is available on Growth and Scale. See our DPA and subprocessors.
